Descale a Delonghi Magnifica S

If you want to enjoy your coffee and Delonghi Magnifica S for a long time, it is necessary to descale your coffee machine every two months.

Step 1:
– Remove the water tank and water filter from the machine.
– Discard the water.
– Add 100 ml of Eccellente Quick Bio Descaler into the water tank.
– Add water to the maximum line
– Place the water tank back in the machine without the water filter
– Empty the drip tray and replace it in the machine

Step 2:
– Press the descale button for three seconds
– Place a large container under the hot water outlet
– Place a large container under the coffee spout
– Switch on the steam button
– It will flow through in 15 minutes

Step 3:
– Replace the steam button
– Empty the bowl, glass and water tank
– Clean the water tank with fresh water
– Refill the tank with water to the maximum line
– Empty the drip tray and place it back in the machine
– Place the water tank back in the machine
– Place the trays back under the steam nozzle and coffee spout
– Switch off the steam nozzle
– Water will flow through the machine
– Replace the steam trap
– Empty the bowl, glass and water tank
– Refill the water tank with fresh water
– Place the water filter in the water tank
– Empty the drip tray
– Place the water tank back in the machine.
