Instructions

Eccellente Water Filter for Melitta

1. Remove the water tank, discard any water present and check that the tank is clean.
2. Insert the filter into the reservoir. Press to the end, making a slight rotating movement (see illustration).
3. Fill the water tank with fresh tap water and place it back in the machine.
4. Flush the machine. Discard this water.

Eccellente Cleaning Tablets for Melitta

1 tablet is sufficient for one application. Observe the care instructions of the appliance manufacturer and act in accordance with your appliance’s operating instructions. Depending on the brand and type of machine, the Melitta cleaning tablet can be put directly into the powder container for optimum cleaning.

Eccellente Quick Descaler for Melitta

1. Fill the water tank of your espresso machine with 100 ml of Eccellente Quick Descaler and top up the tank to the max with clean water.
2. Switch on the machine and start the descaling programme of your Melitta coffee machine.
3. Follow your coffee machine’s instructions on the descaling programme.
4. Rinse the water tank under the hot tap. Fill the water tank with cold tap water and rinse the machine, draining hot water from your coffee machine.

Eccellente Cleaning Brush

Milk residue in milk tube or milk tube:
To remove leftover milk residue from the milk tube and milk tube, soak them briefly in warm water and then run the Eccellente brush through them with the wide side first. You will see that the milk residue disappears immediately.

Coffee deposits in the coffee spout
To remove residual coffee deposits in the coffee spout, push the broad side of the brush up to two centimetres into the spout and rake it back and forth a few times. Then let the machine rinse.

Cleaning the brewing group
You can also use the Eccellente cleaning brush to properly clean the brewing group by passing the thin brush along the parts. The brush is flexible and can thus reach the most difficult-to-reach places.
