The ion-exchange technology removes limescale deposits, so only clear water enters your coffee machine. Instructions

Is the Aqua Clean light flashing orange to remind you that a new filter needs to be installed? As long as the light is flashing you can change the filter without descaling first. When the orange light eventually goes out, descaling is required before installing a new filter. For descaling, use Eccellente Descaler for Philips Saeco.

Install the Eccellente Aqua Clean water filter in 3 easy steps

Step 1: Venting
Shake the filter well and dip it upside down in a bowl of water and squeeze the filter a little until all the air bubbles have disappeared.

Step 2: Place filter
Place the filter in the water tank, pressing it firmly while doing so, fill the water tank with cold water and put it back in your machine.
Remove the LatteGo when it is attached.

Step 3: Activate filter
Place a bowl or bowl under the hot water spout/milk frother, hold down the AquaClean icon for 3 seconds, the start/stop button will flash. Press the start/stop button and hot water is dispensed. After a maximum of 3 minutes, activation will be finished and the AquaClean light will illuminate blue.
